Douglas advisory board
The Douglas Advisory Board has been established to provide strategic advice and recommendations to Council on issues relating to the delivery of core Council services, community issues associated with policy and future planning, and priorities in relation to capital works and other budget proposals.
Membership of the board is in a voluntary capacity. Members represent the following interests: community, tourism, business, environment, arts and culture, Indigenous, and rural/agricultural.
The Douglas Advisory Board will meet at least four times per year. The Board's functions and operations will be reviewed at the end of twelve months.
