Closure works will soon begin at Council’s old Portsmith Landfill site and will involve temporary increased truck movements along various main roads in Cairns. From 25 May to 30 November 2011 (weather permitting), trucks with trailers will carry soil-fill materials to the Landfill site via two main routes.
