Superseded & transitional schemes

The (superseded) CairnsPlan came into effect Jan 2005. The (superseded) Douglas Shire Planning Scheme 2006 came into effect Sep 2006.

Once a new scheme comes into effect an applicant has two years to request an application be determined under the superseded scheme. If you would like further information, please email Council at cairnsplan@cairns.qld.gov.au.
