Compliance assessment of subdivision plans
Compliance assessment is a new development assessment process introduced under the Sustainable Planning Act 2009.
Compliance assessment is required for:
- Subdivision Plans (Schedule 19 SPR2009).
- Work/technical documents identified within development approval conditions as requiring compliance assessment (similar to schedule 12 applications under the Integrated Planning Act).
For more information about compliance assessment, read the Queensland Government's compliance assessment state planning policy & fact sheets.
If your development involves subdivision, Council must endorse the subdivision plan when the development is finalised and all approved conditions have been met.
To lodge the subdivision plan you will need to complete Form 32 (related documents area) - Compliance assessment and lodge this form with full proof of compliance with all development conditions and the original plan.
You are required to pay a fee to have the plan endorsed. Please complete the Compliance Assessment of a Survey Plan - Fee Calculator/Receipt sheet (related documents area) to calculate the required fees. After completing this form lodge with SPA form 32 (related documents area) - Compliance assessment and the subdivision plan.
