The Cairns Regional Garden Awards are conducted annually. The competition covers the local Government Area and is sponsored by the Council, local businesses and clubs. The intent of the awards is to encourage residents and businesses to take pride in their premises and streets.
All gardens will also be in the running for the "Judges Choice Award" which is awarded to a garden that has not won a prize but is deemed worthy by the Guest Judge.
