To ensure compliance with State Legislation and Council Local Laws to provide a safer, healthier environment and lifestyle for people living in and visiting Cairns in the areas of Public Health, Building Regulation Services, Development Control, Environmental Protection, Animal Management, Regulated Parking and Cemeteries.
Services
Licences, Approvals and Permits
These are used as tools by the Environmental Assessment Branch to minimise the impact and
potential inconvenience of activities on the greater community. They also
serve as a means of minimising any impact on the surrounding environmental
values.
