Australia Day 2012 Celebrations

Celebrate what is great about our nation at any of the five Australia Day events happening throughout our region.  Or have a big day and do them all!

Australia Day 2012 will kick off first thing in the morning with a breakfast at Palm Cove with great food and some even better entertainment, followed closely by the region's Australia Day Awards ceremony at the Cairns Esplanade.

Once you're there you can party on with a full day of stage entertainment and of course the good old Aussie BBQ lunch.

For anyone wanting to head further afield, there is an Aussie Arvo down in Gordvale from 2pm to 4pm or if you want to go north, try the Port Douglas activities with the Blessing of the Fleet and activities around the area.
