Public art policy
The Cairns Regional Council's Public Art Policy is an ongoing Council program. The following examples reflect some of the city’s best art works by public artists of renown. The works that are sited across the city play an important part in marking the evolution of a city.
Cairns Regional Council and State Government’s public art program formally known as Art Built-In program, now known as Art + Place has provided the funds to produce a quality collection of public art works spanning a decade.
