Cairns Regional Council is inviting submissions from companies wishing to be placed on Council’s Register of Pre-Qualified Suppliers for Associated Construction Services, contract No. 2197

Tenders will close at 2.00p.m on Tuesday 24 November, 2009.

The contract document is comprised of three (3) parts:

Part 1 – Conditions of Tender
Part 2 – Specification and Tender Response
Part 3 – General Conditions of Contract

There are four (6) categories:

1. Cement Stabilisation
2. Bitumen Stabilisation
3. Pavement Granulation
4. Concrete Pumping
5. Tactiles
6. Profiling Services

The lowest price or any tender may not necessarily be accepted and Tenders will be opened privately.

Tender documents are available from Reception area of Customer Service, Cairns Regional Council, 119-145 Spence Street, Cairns, telephone (07) 40443044 or the Customer Service area of the Cairns Regional Council, 64 – 66 Front Street, Mossman, telephone (07) 40999444.

Tenders are to be placed in a sealed envelope and endorsed “Contract No. 2197 – Associated Construction Services”. The category should be clearly stated on the envelope and one submission per envelope only.

Tenders shall be addressed to the undersigned and lodged, posted or delivered to the Council Chambers, 119-145 Spence Street, Cairns, so as to be received in the Tender Box before closing time of 2.00 p.m. on Tuesday 24 November, 2009.
