This form is used to request a refund or transfer if there has been an overpayment on rates or water usage. 

Standpipe Monthly Reading (74.0 KB)

Metered standpipe water consumption charges are based on a monthly reading, taken and the completed form returned by the hirer of the standpipe. The current monthly reading, less last months reading, equals the consumption to be charged for the month. Failure to supply a reading by the due date may result in a late fee also being applied to the monthly invoice.

Application for a 20mm Domestic/Urban or Recycled Water Service (29.0 KB)

This application is required to connect a Residential / Low Density Residential parcel of land parcel of land to Council infrastructure Cairns Regional Council endeavours to carry out the works within 20 business days from the date of receipt. 

Application for a Commercial Water Service, Fire Hydrant or Subdivisional Connection (42.6 KB)

This application is required to connect/upgrade a parcel of land to Council infrastructure. Used for Commercial Services, Fire Service, Fire Hydrants and Subdivisional Connections. After lodgement of this application, Cairns Regional Council will contact the applicant and provide a fee estimate, prior to commencement of the works. Cairns Regional Council endeavours to carry out the works within 20 business days of receiving the signed fee estimate acceptance remittance.

We endeavour to carry out the works within 20 business days from the date of receipt.

Application for Subsidiary Water Meters (20.3 KB)

This Application applies to existing properties constructed pre 31 December 2007. A subsidiary water meter is additional water meters installed downstream of Council’s master water meter (usually found at the properties front boundary or fence line). These meters may be installed to record the use of individual units/duplex so that independent billing may be achieved.
