Are you between the age of 15 and 30? Into making noise? Whether it's electronic, amplified or acoustic, A-Venue Cairns offers free music industry programs to assist you in the business side of things so that you can work towards a sustainable career as an artist.

The A-Venue Cairns program assists emerging musicians aged between 15 and 30 to develop skills and music industry as well as providing access to performance platforms across a wide range of venue.
It supports access to business training, mentoring, industry induction, management skills training, access to production facilities and links to local entertainment events. A-Venue Cairns has partnered with a variety of organisations (within Council and the private sector) to deliver the following industry workshop events and more:
- Youth Radio Training Programs
- Cooked in Cairns Music Industry Workshops
- Our Band Biz workshop
- Capacity Building Workshops (across Cairns and further abroad including "The A Game"
- Just For Managers one on one mentorships
- Spotlight at Civic – performance platform for emerging artist at Cairns Civic Theatre
