Zumba world record attempt

Join us as we attempt to break the world record for the most people participating in a Zumba class at the one time in the one location.

No experience necessary....you don't even have to be all that co-ordinated...you just need the desire to have fun and help put Cairns on the world record map.

The Cairns Regional Council runs free Zumba classes at Fogarty Park weekly on Tuesdays and Fridays.  

To steal the World Record off the Brits we will need a little help from the people of Cairns and all our fantastic tourists.

The event will kick off at 3pm with music, entertainment, warm-ups, displays and giveaways.  All participants have to be counted and in position by 5.30pm after which time the gates will be closed and no additional people can join the class.  So please make sure you are here as early as possible.

All counted participants who finish the 30 minute class will receive a certificate and other giveaways including Grill'd burger vouchers.

There will be prizes for businesses, best dressed groups and individuals.  So grab your family, friends and anyone else you can drag off the street and come down and be part of history.
