This permit may be required to be used with the application for Permission to carry out alterations to Sewer/Water Mains. A permit for dewatering will only be issued after the site has been inspected and complies with the information supplied in this application.
Application to Build Over/Adjacent to A Sewer/Water Mains (20.7 KB)
This application, including engineered designed footing plans and fees are required to be submitted to and approved by Cairns Regional Council prior to any work being carried out on Council infrastructure. A permit for dewatering may also be required with this application. See Application for Dewatering Permit for details.

Notifiable Minor Work - 4

Plumbing and Drainage Act 2002 IDAS form 4 ‘Notifiable Minor Work’ must be submitted with Cairns Regional Council. Fees apply for Installation of Solar/Heat Pump Hot Water units.
Notification of Responsible Person - 7

Plumbing and Drainage Act 2002 IDAS form 7 ‘Notification of Responsible Person’ must be submitted to Cairns Regional Council to notify of a change in person responsible for the plumbing work.
