Council is developing a new kids and youth activity space at Jeff Pezzutti Park and wants your thoughts on the initial concept.

The activity space is the second stage of the park masterplan ( PDF, 1.29 MB ), following the relocation of the tennis club and safety improvements at the Windarra St/Rigg St intersection.

Public feedback during the initial masterplan consultation revealed the need for improved recreation opportunities for families and teens.

We are now seeking specific feedback on the types of activities that are suitable for the area. Once selected Council will hold detailed consultation with families, youth and industry to select the final design.

Proposed elements of Stage 2 of the masterplan are:

  • New skate / scooter area
  • New bump track
  • New, larger playground (suitable for primary school aged children)
  • New multipurpose court
  • New public toilets
  • Improved paths and connectivity
  • Improved safety with clear sight lines, CCTV and lighting
  • Increased landscaping and trees.
