Yorkeys Knob Old School Park

We are reviewing the potential improvements that can be made within the park as a result of the survey. Once the improvements are identified and approved, the plan for Old School Park will be prioritised within Council’s overall budget and long-term plan based on various factors.

The results outlined that sufficient shade, and seating is most important to the respondents. The results also outlined that the features most utilised are the playground, and the seating area. Respondents outlined their desire for the tennis court, although not a high-use feature, to remain an element of the park. Requests for the development of a community garden was noted, as well as the consideration for a full court or a multi-use court.
