Tell Me A Story Exhibition
Thursday 4 May - Saturday 20 May
Curated by Sorami Ochi
Sorami Ochi returns as guest curator for this year’s Cairns Children’s Festival exhibition.
Children of Cairns and Far North Queensland were given a simple brief: to think about a story you’ve been told, or a story of your own, a true story or a made-up story, and make a work of art about that story.
This Exhibition provides kindergarten and primary school-aged children living in Far North Queensland the opportunity to have their artwork exhibited at an art gallery and receive public recognition for their creativity and skills.
Launch: 5pm Friday 5 May
