Fully accessible with compliant graded paths and access points
Two accessible parking spaces are available across the road from the Gallery, next to the Lagoon Plaza. Accessible parking is also available on Abbott Street, directly in front of Art Work Spaces (next to Court House Gallery).
Cairns Regional Council recognises all interstate and international accessible parking permits which allow holders to park for free, for unlimited times in any designated CRC on-street or off-street parking areas.
Drop off/ Pick up
There are no dedicated accessible drop-off/pick-up areas.
Alternative parking facilities
The closest alternative parking area is the Cairns Esplanade Parking area, which is council-owned and is approximately 300m away.
Mulgrave Gallery is a gallery space with an event space on the back lawn. There is no set seating anywhere in the venue. Events on the back lawn with no seats –patrons can bring their own chairs or picnic blankets. If patrons do have any access requirements or questions, please contact the venue on 4032 6660.
There is one accessible unisex bathroom, which is equipped with a baby change table, and one ambulant unisex bathroom.
Telecoil software- It is only active when Mulgrave Gallery sound system is in use (music/speeches)
No pets or animals are permitted at Council’s arts and cultural venues, with the exception of registered assistance animals. You may be asked to produce evidence that your animal is registered with an accredited training organisation under the Guide, Hearing and Dog Act 2009.
