Understory High, introduced in 2023, has quickly become a platform for the region’s young and emerging filmmakers to showcase their creativity and unique perspectives. This subsidiary festival was launched exclusively for high school students in response to the growing number of student entries to the flagship Event Understory Film Festival.
Join us at the Tanks Arts Centre for the Understory High 2024 Finalist Screening and Awards Presentation and enjoy the cinematic showcase that represents the creative voices and visions of our region’s young filmmakers, each film telling a unique and compelling story.
Understory High is more than just an event; it’s a celebration of creativity, passion, and the boundless potential of youth in filmmaking.
